1968 FJ40 - Original Owner

"Bought new on August 28, 1968.  It originally had a soft top.  Through the years, it received a 1967 hardtop at about age 10.  It's had two paint jobs, a 2" lift, steering correction kit, BFG Mud Terrain tires, and new seats.  Original running gear and stock engine.  At it's current age 30+. I'm am now going into the lower end of the engine for the FIRST time.  That's about 350,000 miles on the engine. Not a lot of other 'goodies' on the truck besides Ham Radio gear. It goes where I want it to, and it gets me back, been doing that for 30+ years, it's a good one. Of all the places we've gone, and the untold rolls of film used, these attached photos appear to be the only ones to complete the move out here to Florida."
